Akufo-Addo’s Visit To E/R: The Truth Shall Prevail – NPP Chairman

The Second Vice Chairman of the Ruling New Patriotic party, NPP in the Eastern Region, Mr. Twum Barima has denied the rumors going round that the Eastern University that is being built in Somanya is moved to one of the Akyem towns and entreated all to regard those speculations as palpable lies and deliberate attempts to dent the hard earned image and the great achievements of the party.

He made this known on Radio1fm 100.7 Susubiribi Morning Show on Wednesday 21st November 2018 when the host asked him of the preparation of the president tour in the Eastern region on Thursday 22th November 2018.

Mr. Twum said as he was talking; the University is under construction and working is ongoing and so urged Ghanaians to desist from circulating rumors.

However, he said the New Patriotic Party and the president do listen to the concerns of the people and have taken upon themselves for the betterment of the country to continue all the projects that were left half way completed by the former president, John Dramani Mahama in the Eastern Region.

The president, Nana Addo will embark on a three day working visit to Eastern Region. The visit forms part of the grassroots participation in his government and to also obtain first-hand information from the people.
