A member of Communication for the ruling New Patriotic Party, NPP in the Eastern Region has said before the first administration of President Akufo-Addo ends, all deplorable roads in the Eastern Region will be fixed.
He said, speaking as a senior Member of the NPP Communication team, in the region he can authoritatively say that there are plans in place to fix all roads before 2020 ends.
He revealed this on The ISSUES, a political show on Saturday, on Radio1FM, 100.7MHZ when he told the host, Owurakou Asamoah in response to Ofosu Ampofo’s intention to lead the people of Oda into Demonstration when after 3 months their roads are not fixed.
Even as the Opposition party representative at the studio vehemently doubted what he was saying, he kept to his words and urged all listeners to be patient because there is already plans in completing them by 2020.
Mr Samuel Ofosu Ampofo had early on said on Oda based Okyeman FM during his tour in the Eastern Region said he is disappointed in the NPP for the deplorable state of Oda roads especially when an Akyem native is a President and Senior Minister also from same look unconcern for the state of the roads.
