Blame Asiedu Nketia For NDC Party Office Shooting

The president of the Floating Voters Association of Ghana, Ben Anderson has said the National Secretary of the National Democratic Congress NDC, Johnson  Aseidu Nketia should be blamed for the gun shots at the NDC Ashanti regional headquarters.

According to him, Aseidu Nketia has sat on various media platforms to endorse these vigilante groups particularly the Hawks countless times.

He made this known on susubiribi Morning Show on Radio 1 on Tuesday 19, February 2019 when the host Captain Kofi Owusu asked of their concern about the situation as a non partisan Association.

Mr. Anderson apportioned all the blames to the chief Scribe of NDC and the political leaders because they have entertained these vigilante groups to the extent that these groups interrupt  executive meetings, cause violence and unleash various forms of wrath on them all in the name of politics.

In the Susubiribi phone interview, Ben Anderson said these vigilante groups are rather made up of criminals and armed robbers and violent people which have come together so you can imagine what will happen.

Mr. Anderson concluded that the only thing the political leaders can do now to stop these violence in the country by these vigilante groups is to immediately dissolve the groups if not then the country should be prepared to see more of these.

However, he said he is very shocked that after the Ayawaso west Wuogon violence, None of these political leader has been called for interrogation because he believes they are the same people who formed the groups so they should be held accountable for their actions and inactions.
