God Should Bless NDC To Stay At Opposition For Long- NPP Chairman

The regional Second Vice Chairman of the Ruling New Patriotic Party, NPP, in the Eastern Region, Mr Twum Barima has called on the almighty God to bountifully bless the Opposition National Democratic Congress, NDC to stay at opposition for a longer time for they are very good in criticising, meaning that’s where they belong and can work better to help in developing the country.

According to him the NDC have no initiatives or whatsoever plans aimed at developing and improving the status quo of the citizenry but are  very good in criticizing when in opposition.

Speaking on the Issues, on Radio1fm 100.7 on Saturday January 5, 2019, he told the host Owuraku Asamoah that the NDC will never bring any initiative rather criticize the government’s policies and that’s the only thing they can do best.

“God should bless NDC so that they can stay in opposition particularly because they are very good at criticism.Theirs is to criticize every policy you initiate”, the hardworking Chairman asserted.

His comments came following the controversies surrounding the collapse of some banks, under grading some, merging others and government supporting the rest, for the betterment of the country and sustaining the economy.

About 16 banks have their licenses revoked and some merged while the Groupe Nduom Bank, GN bank has been downgraded to Savings and loans ltd. These are as results of these banks not meeting the capital for banks in Ghana.
