The Chief Executive officer of Mental Authority, Dr. Akwasi Osei has revealed that the Menzgold customers can be adversely affected psychologically if nothing is done about their situation.
According to Doctor Akwasi Osei, Government should at least give the affected customers a word of encouragement even if he can not help them retrieve their investments from the Company.
He made this revelation on Radio 1’s Susubiribi Morning Show on 9th January 2019, When the host, Captain Kofi Wusu asked him of the psychological effect on these customers.
Dr. Akwasi said what the affected customers need are comfort, encouragement and counselling to avoid them going through same sorts of psychological problems because even the money allocated to the mental authority is not enough so it will be better not to trigger anything that would rise mental problems.
The customers of the beleaguered company have been demanding payment of their principal investment from the gold dealership company after it was instructed to cease operation by the security and exchange commission.
The angry customers also accused other state institutions for having gone silent on the issue.
