The Municipal Coordinating Director for New Juaben Municipal Assembly Alhaji Mahamadu Azonko has commended Muslims for living in peace with other religions faith and tolerating the views of others in diverse society.
This was in his speech at a prayer session organized by the Ahmediyya Muslims Mission to climax the Ramadan in Koforidua. He said this has enhanced peaceful coexistence between other sects, Christians and Traditionalists in the Country.
He reiterated that it has become imperative for Muslims to refrain from the usage of indecent language and dialogue to settle disputes or seek redresses he then advised Muslim communities especially the youth not to take the law into their own hands to becomes trouble citizen but rider law abiding and peace makers.
Alhaji Mahamadu Azonko urges Muslims to be good ambassadors of the faith to attract more people into their fold. He implored the youth to take advantage of programs implemented by government. He added that it will empower them financially.
