Nana-Bawumia, Worse Administrators Ever, As We Approach Dry Christmas Season – NDC MP (Hopeful)

The Member of Parliament, hopeful in the Yilo constituency on the ticket of the opposition National Democratic Congress, NDC has reiterated the voice of many prominent Ghanaians as in celebrating a dry Christmas of which he puts the blames solely on the Nana- Bawumia NPP led administration.

According to him, this is the worse administration ever in the history of Ghana and the most ‘broke’ month or Christmas season he has witnessed in his lifetime.

“A heartless government ever, we have seen the NPP in power, but this NPP is heartless, contractors haven’t been paid for their employees to take care of their families” this represents a direct transcript and a quote, by the Member of Parliament hopeful for the Yilo Constituency in the eastern region on the ticket of the National Democratic Congress, Mr. Michael Ologo, on the wake of painstaking complaints by a section of well meaning Ghanaians that, this year’s yuletide of 2018, is dormant and very uninspiring due to the feeble economic structures under the Nana Addo’s government.

Michael Ologo asserted to the effect that, the  Akufo Addo led administration, has worsened the economic and living conditions by the suffering masses, and thereby making it difficult for them to celebrate the 2018 Christmas festivities with fun and pageantry, amidst bountifully merry making.

He noted the bad management of the economy by the vice President Dr. Mahmoud Bawumia who leads the country’s economic management team, and finance minister Mr. Kenneth Ofori Atta has also largely contributed to the systemic hardships of the economy, and called for prompt remedial austerity measures to avert the problem.

Comparing the economic indices under the past NDC regime through a telephone interview on Friday 21/12/2018, to Nana Dogbe of Ahotor FM (92.3), monitored by Radio 1 News, the parliamentary hopeful, retorted that, former president John Dramani  Mahama and his team performed tremendously from 2012 – 2016, during their tenure in office and provided Ghanaians with alternative sources of livelihoods each time there was a new policy which was being introduced, to swap defunct and defective ones , and said the Akufo Addo government is bereft with such administrative turn over to enhance efficiency in the delivery of economic freedom for the ordinary citizen, as well as the entire populace.

Mr. Ologo is of the view that judging from past examples and experiences acquired in corporate governance, he foresees a rather disturbing phenomenon, in the governance structure of the country if President Akufo Addo and his administration do not hurriedly intervene in the dwindling fortunes of the economy since per the fact checked from previous statistics in regards to the macro and micro economic stability, it appears the country is heading towards a ditch, even as the President sits aloof and unconcerned.

In ending his submission on this year’s Christmas occasion, he hinted that, he has monitored events as it unfolds for the past 20 months , and still counting ,and can comfortably conclude that the harsh economic woes under the Akufo Addo – Bawumia led government have rendered many to a “dry Christmas”, but was quick to add that, it remained an undeniable fact that, successive  NDC governments have been the only authority with the magic wand to give the Ghanaian economy a new hope and a positive outlook after 2020.
