NDC Kumasi Shooting: Tackle The Issue As Criminology Not Partisan – Arko Gun Appeals To Police

The deputy national communication Officer for the opposition National Democratic Congress, NDC, Godwin Arko Gun has advised the police not to be partisan in this current shootings in the country especially with the shootings at the NDC party headquarters in Ashanti region during an executive meeting.

According to the vociferous national executive, these current shootings undermine the hard earned reputation our democracy has brought to Ghana.

In a phone interview with the host of the Susubiribi Morning Show, Captain Kofi Owusu  on Radio 1FM, 100.7MHZ on Wednesday February 20th 2019, Arko Gun revealed that what is wrong is wrong irrespective of the party affiliation and urged the police to be pragmatic, decorous and diplomatic in handling the shooting issue.

He added that the party faithfuls must remain calm, resolute and careful in their doings and utterances and doings even as the presidential primaries comes off this Saturday. He advised them to put away all factions during the election but vote for the best candidate that can help capture power in 2020 elections.     

Two persons was shot at the Ashanti Regional Office of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC).

The incident happened during an altercation between at least one of the victim and the shooter.
