Police Week Celebration, Kibi Police Division Ready For Endurance Walk

The Crime Officer for the Kibi Police Division in the Eastern Region, DCOP Francis Antwi Bosiako has disclosed that they are 100% ready for the Police Week Celebration which will commence with Endurance Walk on Saturday, November 25, 2018.

 

In a studio discussion on Radio1FM, 100.7MHZ DCOP Francis Antwi Bosiako said the Police across the Nation have been given one week as their day to celebrate. He revealed that the theme for this year’s Week Celebration is aimed at bridging the Gap between the Citizens and the Police.

 

However, DCOP Antwi Bosiako reiterated their readiness to engage the general public and rebuff all the misconceptions imbedded in the public with regards to the do’s and don’ts of the Police Service. He againsaid after engaging the public, as part of the celebration, various Schools from SHS to the Training College in Kibi to educate them on Security issues.

 

The Superintendent of Police, said the weeklong Program will start with an Endurance Walk on Saturday, Engagement with the Press on Monday. Then they will move to Abuakwa State College and Kibi Technical SHS and finally to the Kibi Training College to for sensitization on the Security mishaps in the country especially in the Eastern Region. On Wednesday, there would be durbar for all residents to explore their grievances. Thursday would be a day that the police Station would be opened for school Children to come and ask any question bothering them. What he termed as excursion. He said the celebration will be climaxed with a memorial service for the late officers.

According to him all the Divisions in the country will embark on the same program and thereby called on all to join them since the police is a friend of the citizen.
