Abass Fuseini Sbaabe, a National Zongo Caucus Coordinator in the coming, has said that the National Democratic Congress must choose leaders who are ready to work, prepared to go all out any time called upon, not those who will lead the party from their homes.
Below is the unadulterated message from Abass;
“Before you cast your vote to choose a National Zongo Caucus Coordinator, find out whether you are choosing an armchair politician who will stay in Accra and wouldn’t care about what happens in Axim or Zabzugu Zongos, or you are choosing a field marshal who will take steps with you into your constituencies to organize the people for NDC in election 2020.
Are you choosing a ‘seated’ National Zongo Caucus Coordinator or you are choosing a new, energetic and innovative person to lead our army of sufficiently resourced and motivated coordinators into the 2020 elections?
Are you choosing an energetic younger person to lead the Regional and Constituency Zongo Caucus Coordinators or you are electing others with weaker knees to sit in Accra as usual and not make any impact on the fields?
Support the election of Abass, who enjoys field work. Support the man with stronger knees and arms to do the drudgery work involved in organizing votes for the party in remote areas of the country.
Support the man with a a clear vision on what the NDC can do in the Zongos to reduce their burdens and to win their total support.
Zongos have provided stronger arms for the NDC to lean on but unfortunately, it has a weaker voice at the national level to speak for it. It is time for the Zongos to have a stronger voice to represent their interest at the national level. It shouldn’t be business as usual, NO.
Abass will ably represent the interests of Zongos and present a stronger voice of ZONGO at the national level.
