Kevin-Prince Boateng has described playing with Barcelona teammate Lionel Messi as “magical” ahead of Wednesday’s El Clasico.
There were doubts the Argentine wizard will be part of the Barcelona squad for the Copa del Rey first leg tie against Real Madrid but he was included in the group on Tuesday night.
And according to Ghana international, Boateng who is yet to play alongside Lionel Messi in a competitive fixture sharing the same pitch with the five-time Ballon d’Or winner is a magical feeling.
The 31-year-old was a surprise January signing for Barca, and he made his debut for the Catalan club in their 2-0 loss to Sevilla in the Copa del Rey quarter-final first leg last month.
“I can honestly tell you that playing against Messi is very difficult. But seeing him now on the field is magical. He can do everything on his own, it is incredible.”
