USAID honor Hajia Alima Sagito-Saeed

Today, in honor of Global Entrepreneurship Week, we honor Hajia Alima Sagito-Saeed from the Northern Region, one of a number entrepreneurs who USAID is proud to support.

Hajia Alima Sagito-Saeed is the Executive Director of Savannah Integrated Rural Development Aid, an organization that helps districts mobilize communities, provide social services, and train women and youth. She received training through AfricaLead, a USAID program that nurtures the talents of agribusiness leaders throughout Africa, which helped her to expand her business and reach more female and youth leaders.

She is proud of her partnership with USAID, and to be able to empower more women like herself. “I am a female super champion for agricultural transformation,” she said. “As a grassroots leader, I have a passion for social change and working with women as the change agents for themselves and their communities.”
