Call him what you may; a soothsayer, a pastor, a politician on a pulpit, or a prophet of doom. Rev. Isaac Owusu Bempah, founder and leader of the Glorious Word Ministry International continues to dominate the headlines in Ghana, often for reasons other than right. He is in the news again and this time saying that the National Democratic Congress (NDC) sold Ghana to the devil in exchange for power.

The pastor, who has courted controversy in Ghana for several years appears to have a trigger that sparks such discussions about him.

The maverick man of God made this known to Captain Kofi Owusu, the host of ‘Susubiribi’, the Morning Show on Radio1. According the founder of Glorious Word Ministry International, the NDC in other to be in power traded the country to an occultic spirit. “I told Ghanaians that a political party has sold Ghana to a demonic spirit in exchange for power and in return the demon has demanded blood. So whether they win or lose the country will pay dearly”, he stated.

He further explained that, God has revealed to him that the former Attorney-General will be given the nod by Ghanaians, although there may be some challenges; adding “some events will occur again and that is what might bring about further problems.”

“I received so many threat because of what I said, even some pastors called me to drop such prophecies”, he lamented.

He stressed that no amount of threat can and will stop him from speaking the mind of God to Ghanaians irrespective of who is affected by the prophecy, insisting he is not afraid of death or of anybody to keep quiet over God’s prophecy, and he did just that.

“The prophecy came to pass and this same people congratulated me, instead of them to support me in prayers they will condemn me and call me names”, he said.

He then urged all Ghanaians to pray for mother Ghana for God’s intervention and protection from all forms of danger and devilish attack.
