Zimbabwe President Robert Mugabe hailed his Ghanaian counterpart, Nana Akufo-Addo for delivering an excellent speech at Ghana’s 60th independence anniversary celebration on Monday.
The 93-year-old president said he was highly inspired by Akufo-Addo’s speech, he opined that the speech was re-igniting and shot up Africa’s image.
Speaking to journalists in Accra on Tuesday, President Mugabe said what Akufo-Addo did on Monday showed Ghanaians have found a right leader who would champion the vision of Ghana and the vision of pan-Africanism.
President Mugabe was recently in Singapore for a “medical review”.
He celebrated his 93rd birthday at a lavish ceremony in Harare last week.
