NANA ADDO HAS FAILED HIS INTEGRITY TEST – BABA JAMAL

The Regional Communication Officer of the National Democratic Congress [NDC] for the Eastern Region, Mr. Baba Jamal Konneh has stated that, the President of the Republic of Ghana, His Excellency Nana Addo Dankwa  Akuffo- Addo has failed his integrity test over his appointments  of ministers and deputy ministers of state.

According to him, Nana Addo has really recorded a false start with his governance looking at his age and the integrity that has been accorded him.

President Akuffo- Addo has come under severe criticisms over new appointments he made some few days ago brought the number of ministers and deputy minister to 110.

With his number of appointees, Akuffo- Addo’s government becomes the biggest ever in the history of the Fourth Republic. The previous NPP government led by former President John Agyekum Kufuor had 88 ministers, the Mills administration that succeeded it had 69 ministerial appointees whiles the Mahama administration, had 78 ministerial appointments.

Speaking on Radio 1 Breakfast show ”Susubribi” with host Captain Kofi Owusu, Mr. Baba Jamal Konneh described the appointments as disappointing and failure of Nana Addo’s government.

”It is really shocking and disappointing of Nana Addo’s government with his integrity, looking at his age 72 shows that, he has really failed”. he stressed.

Also reacting to the recent incident at Koforidua, where the NDC supporters angry over party executive, he said the supporters have the right to express their discomfort.

”The party supporters had wanted the executives to excuse them to expressed their discomfort”. he stated.

He added that, grass roots, been the supporters of the party are the owners of the party, therefore they must always be given the chance to expressed their discomfort over party issues.
