The Communication Director of the governing New Patriotic Party [NPP] for Suhum Constituency, Mr. Stephen Ayensu has lashed out at the National Democratic Congress [NDC] for being the cause of the problems and cracks that happened in the NPP when they were in the opposition.

He said confidently that a lot of their party members including some national executive members were paid by the NDC to cause mayhem to weaken the opposition influence and strength in the country so that they [NDC] can easily sail through the 2016 general elections without difficulty.

Speaking to Owuraku Asamoah, the host of ‘The Issues’ on Radio1, Mr Ayensu further stated that it is payback time for the current opposition party for the crisis that has taken over their house in recent times.

“The NDC had no campaign message during the 2016 electioneering campaign so they sought to orchestrate problems in NPP by wrongly accusing and tagging H.E. Nana Addo as ‘violent’ and even went to the extent of paying money to some top national executive members to cause internal unrest within our party” he ranted.

He made this comment in response to the internal wrangling and tsunami that is happening in the opposition NDC party all over the country from the national to the grass root levels over who caused the party’s defeat in the 2016 general elections.

John Dumelo is a Thief

In a related development, Mr. Ayensu stated emphatically that he has concrete and enough evidence to prove that John Dumelo stole the state’s vehicle and that he is ever ready to provide the said evidence even at the law court. The Communication Director therefore dared Dumelo to sue him at the court.
