Mahama 2020 campaigners need ‘psychiatric attention’ – NPP youth organiser

The Brong Ahafo Regional Youth Organiser of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Kwame Baffoe has labelled persons rooting for the return of forrmer President John Mahama as President of the country as ones who ‘need psychiatric attention’.

Abronye DC as he is known and called speaking on Accra-based Oman FM on Thursday said he is always shocked to hear people calling for the former President to return to lead the country once more.

This shock, he said stems from the massive corruption that happened under his immediate past administration.

“When I hear people clamouring for the return of John Mahama in 2020 and shouting JM 2020, I get alarmed and I think those people need psychiatric attention…,” he said.

The supporters have argued that the former President supervised over unprecedented infrastructural development in the country and hence deserve a chance to rule the country once more.

But Abronye DC is of the opinion that the former President supervised over ‘thievery and corruption’ which was headed by his brother, Ibrahim Mahama and hence the country would be doomed if he is even offer the opportunity to contest the flagbearer ship slot of the NDC.

He thus argued that his supporters need ‘psychiatric attention’.

Some loyalists of the former President have started calling on the rank and file of the NDC to consider allowing the former leader an opportunity to lead the country once more.
