President Nana Addo Has Nothing to do with Insecurity – Nii Tackie

National communication member for the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) on Radio 1 political show “The Isues” said that no one should attached the current insecurity in the country to politics and going the extra mile to pushed the blame to the President Nana Addo.
“Nana Addo has nothing to with Insecurity in Ghana, this about Ghana the whole country we should push politics away and find a way to solve the situation”, Nii Tackie said.
According to him this is not the first time Ghana is facing insecurity, it has been there for a long time from Kwame Nkrumah down to President Nana Addo.
“we should find a way to solve this issue than involving politics”, he concluded.

This Issue came by when discussing the Floyd Mayweather’s visit to Ghana which has been postponed until further notice,due to insecurity in Ghana, Upscale Entertainment,organizers of the visit has stated.
The undefeated American boxer was scheduled to be in the country on June 15, for a two-day tour with several events lined up.
The boxer was scheduled to begin his African tour dubbed “Undefeated Tour” today from Nigeria before heading to Ghana on Thursday.
Mayweather, however, could not make the trip to Nigeria which has caused the postponement of the visit to Ghana.
Though fans of the boxer in the country would be disappointed by the development, organizers have indicated that tickets are yet to be sold for the visit.
Vigilante groups linked to the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) have been on vandalism spree, seizing state properties and going on collision course with law enforcement agencies. There are pockets of violence in parts of the country as rowdy citizens attack police stations to release suspects.
Forty-eight hours ago, a military commander Captain Maxwell Mahama of the 5th Battalion of Infantry who was on detachment at Denkyira-Obuasi in the Central region was lynched at dawn as residents alleged he was mistaken as an armed robber.
Joining a number of personalities in condemning the gruesome murder, Mr. Mensah, who was the boss of the National Health Insurance Authority (NHIA) in the Mahama administration said “no one appears safe” in Ghana now.
