The deputy former education minister Hon. Alex Kyeremeh has alleged that the member of parliament for Dome Kwabenya constituency, Hon. Adwoa Sarfo then in opposition minority voted against the formal president John Mahama and the NDC decision to built the community day senior high schools (SHS).
According to him, the NDC government in 2013 negotiated with the world Bank to build the community day SHS and after the negotiations the agreement was sent to parliament in 2014 for parliamentary approval but the New Patriotic Party( NPP) then in opposition (minority) voted against the decision and Adwoa Sarfo was then among the minority in parliament.

Alex Kyeremeh said “president Mahama(NDC) government in 2013 negotiated with the world bank to help finance the NDC policy of community day Senior High Schools (SHS), the negotiations went on successfully and was sent to the parliament house for approval in 2014, but the NPP (minority) disagree with the decision and votes was cast on the arrangement ” Adwoa Sarfo then minority voted against the decision” he stressed.
He added that there is no truth that the NDC built the community day SHS in it strong holds. ” There are some of the things we normally disgrace with the NPP, the community day senior high school was not built only in NDC strong holds, some was built at where NDC has never won a seat” he lamented.

In the video, Adwoa Safo was seen making the point forcefully to the effect that the Community Day Senior High School otherwise referred to as E-Block was built through her efforts.
She was heard saying her former employers, the World Bank requested her to acquire a litigation free land for them to put up the school building, which she did even in her opposition days.
The Public Procurement minister asserted that the NDC government skillfully built the over one hundred and twenty tree schools in their strongholds.
The Kwabenya Legislator did not stop here but went further to suggest that her constituency is the only NPP constituency that benefited from that project to justify her claim to a loud applause of her constituents.
