I should have won the 2016 election if not Corruption in EC office

The Founder and Leader of the Ghana Freedom Party (GFP), Madam Akua Donkor has said that she could have been the winner in the 2016 election but because of corruption in the office of the Electoral commission (EC) she was disqualified.

According to the farmer turned politician who has been described by some political watchers as a comic relief in Ghanaian politics, the office of the EC has been divided into two, with NPP having half of the staff and NDC having the other half.

“I was the winner of the 2016 election, everything shows that i was the winner but because of corrupton in the office of the EC lead by Charlotte Osei they disqualifies me, she told the host of Radio 1 Breakfast Show host Captain Kofi Owusu.
