Founder of Ghana controversy is irrelevant- Asani Tano.

The Deputy General secretary of the convention people’s party, Honorable Yaw Asani Tano has described the controversy of the founder of Ghana as irrelevant.

According to him, the ruling New Patriotic Party do not like Dr. Kwame Nkrumah since he began his fight for independent for Ghana.

He cited the example that, former president John Agyekum Kufuor lead the New Patriotic Party to power in 2001 after been in a opposition for a long period against the National Democratic Congress since 1992, but Kufuor wasn’t the only person who voted for himself, same apply to Nkrumah.

Speaking on radio 1 breakfast show dubbed ” Susubiribi” with host captain Kofi Owusu, Mr. Asani said Nkrumah lead Ghana to independent but he wasn’t the only person who fought, he was the leader and that gratitude must be up headed , he stated.

Mr. Asani added ”J.B Dankwa wasn’t the only person in the Big Six so why is it that the New Patriotic Party always celebrate him, but not the other heroes among the big six, and more over J.B Dankwa is not learn anywhere as the founder of Ghana in the history of Ghana’s independence.”
