It seems schools under trees still exist despite Government’s commitment to promote quality education at all levels.
He added, the situation is worrying, as it has negative effect on their studies as classes is always called off when it is about to rain.
Nana Osew, narrating the issues to Oppong Kyekyeku of Radio 1, also accused a mining company (Narawa mining company) of selling out sand meant to reclaim lands destroyed by their own activities.
He alleged, the tipper trucks have damaged the road to the community and has however appealed to the appropriate authorities to intervene in the sand winning activity of the company.
Attempts to seek for reaction from the mining company has proven futile.
Meanwhile, checks by the correspondent reveal the mining company has been ordered to stop operations by the Operation Vanguard Taskforce hence engaging in sand winning.
