Vice Chairman for the Parliamentary Select Committee on Education and NPP MP for Ahafo Anor South Constituency, Hon. Johnson Kwaku Adu has mentioned that there is no way the free Senior High School policy will block the government from fulfilling his promises of doing other projects.

Speaking on Radio1 Morning Show “Susubiribi”, he thanked God for giving Nana Addo such a brilliant idea in the first place, adding that, government has put things in place with the Free SHS policy which will provide the students with books and other things the students may need in their schooling.

Mr. Johnson indicated that, the biggest opposition party (NDC) has been against this policy since the first day it was muted by Nana Addo and the New Patriotic Party. He therefore assured Ghanaians that once the people of this nation continue to pay their taxes, there will always be funds to run the project for our future generations.

“There is a good source of fund for the free Senior High, we get money from our resources such as; gold, bauxites, cocoa, oil and other resources to support the country’s needs.”

He added that its better they start gradually from somewhere as former President Kuffour started from the kindergarten to the Junior High School and we should rather appreciate the party for this move.

He then encouraged those in the second and final years to be happy for the fact that their younger siblings are going to benefit from this policy which will reduce the burden of their parents.
