Use your strength to promote sanitation – Kwame Owusu To Vigilante Groups

An Invincible force member in the New Patriotic party (NPP) at the Asunafo North Municipality in the Brong Ahafo Region, Mr. Kwame Owusu has called on all vigilante groups in the ruling New Patriotic Party NPP to use their strength and energy to promote sanitation in their constituencies.

He made this call after they embarked on a cleanup exercise in the municipality.

‘’Now the election is over so we need to help our various executives and Nana Addo to fulfill the party campaign promises. We are calling on all vigilante groups within the NPP been invisible force, Delta force or any group not to relax after the victory but use their strength and energy to embark on clean up exercise in their various constituencies to promote sanitation,’’ he said.

Following the declaration of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) as the winner of the 2016 presidential elections, there have been reports of forceful takeovers of some state agencies, facilities and operations including KVIPs and toll booths, alleged to be carried out by the Invisible Forces, a private security organization affiliated to the NPP.

Many groups including the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) have called on the president to deal more firmly and decisively with the situation.

But a member of the vigilante groups, Mr. Kwame Owusu has advised his colleagues to promote sanitation in their constituencies with their strength.
