Chaos erupted at Ga Mashie on Wednesday, following some chieftaincy dispute in the area.
The rumpus broke after some youth believed to be the followers of Nii Tackie Teiko Tsuru II wielding cudgels and bottles, went on rampage Wednesday to disorganized a Press conference being held by one of the factions of the Ga-State.
The Abola Piam We, had organised a press conference in the morning to register their displeasure over the installation of Nii Tackie Teiko Tsuru II as Ga Mantse over the weekend in Accra.
According to them, they were the rightful clan to install a new Ga-Mantse, and vowed to resist the illegitimacy of Nii Tackie Teiko Tsuru.

But the angry youth from Nii Teiko Tsuru We stormed the press conference to disrupt the programme from going ahead.
However, the Police were called in to calm the escalation of tension. Some four persons suspected to be part of the mayhem were arrested by the Police.
It took the intervention of Nii Tackie Teiko Tsuru II to calm the angry youth.
At least two Chiefs have been installed separately by feuding factions of the Ga-State in a row, with the latest being Nii Tackie Teiko Tsuru II on Saturday, October 21.
Meanwhile, Nii Tackie Adama Latse II who was installed earlier has been inducted into the Greater Accra Regional House of Chiefs as Ga Mantse.
