The efforts by residents at Bunso Junction to find solution to the series of road accidents at Bunso Junction on Accra- Kumasi Highway in the Eastern region has resulted positively as the road minister, Hon. Isaac Asiamah and the Ghana Highway Authority have listen to their grievances over the series of accidents which has led to the lost of many lives by ensuring speed rumps are been provided on the road to limit accidents at the Junction as the residents demanded.
Work has stated on the road at the Junction and they applaud the media especially Radio1 100.7 at Bunso Junction for the effort they put in to make sure it is done.
Speaking to the engineer in charge on the road (name withheld), he said the speed ramps will be only three, that is one on every approach.
But according to the residents though the government has listen to them but a speed ramp on every approach won’t help solve the situation.

They reiterated that it could be better for the speed ramps to be three on every approach; some drivers explained that with the three on every approach it will have an effective protection on the road for drivers and the pedestrian as well.
They are appealing to the highway Authority to reconsider their decision by providing three speed ramps on every approach instead one.
