Embattled former Ghana Football Association President Kwesi Nyantakyi seems to be back at work, but this time as an advertiser for an alcoholic beverage, Happy Man Bitters.
The former first Vice President of CAF in a short video circulating on social media is seen praising Happy Man Bitters, one of Ghana’s leading alcoholic beverages.
The video can best be described as a form of commercial but what surprises many is that the former FA boss is a Muslim and his religion despises alcohol.
It can be recalled that Egyptian goalkeeper Mohamed El-Shenawy following his incredible display snubbed the man of the match award handed to him after Egypt’s loss to Uruguay because it is sponsored by alcohol giant Budweiser, an official World Cup sponsor.

Thus, Kwesi Nyantakyi’s endorsement in another vein has caused a stir on the internet with a section of social media commenters chastising him.
The former Ghana FA president stepped down from his position following the Anas’ corruption exposé which captured top officials engaging in fraudulent acts.
Kwesi Nyantakyi was also caught using the name of President Akufo-Addo and other top government officials to lure supposed foreign investors and take millions of dollars from them.
Also, more than 100 referees were caught on tape taking bribes to manipulate the outcome of games in a team’s favor.
