Don’t Entertain Cheap Policies – Catholic Bishop To Akufo-Addo

The Roman Catholic archbishop of Kumasi Metropolis in the Ashanti Region, Most Rev. Gabriel Justice Yaw Amakye, has appealed to government to refuse cheap policies and cheap infrastructural development.
He also urged the media to denounce people who abuse and defame others as well as name and shame all wrongdoers.
The appeal follows a visit by President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, and his entourage to the St Peter’s Cathedral Basilica, Roman Hill in Kumasi in the Ashanti region on Sunday, 12 August 2018, as part of his working visit to the Region.
In the Sermon, most Rev. Gabriel Justice Yaw Amakye impelled the congregation to be law abiding and discipline. According to him, “this is the best way to secure peace and Ghana’s Socio-political stability.”

He further invoked the congregation to embraced whatever is “true, honourable, praiseworthy and just” in other to promote peace and stability.
The Vicar General, Very Rev. Fr. Dr. Louis Tuffour, who was delightful about the president’s visit to the region, rallied support for government’s Planting for Food and Job programme.
He underscored the need for Ghana to invest in talents as well as be innovative in solving problems.
On his part, Nana Akufo-Addo pledge government’s effort to sustain political stability, rule of law and freedom and justice.
