Ghana Names Squad For WAFU Under-17 Tournament

Ghana U17 team coach Abdul Karim Zito has named a 20-man squad for the Africa Cup qualifying tournament in Niger.

The Black Starlets are set to travel to Niger on Thursday for the tournament which will produce the representative for the WAFU Zone B zone at the Africa Cup finals.

Karim Zito’s side has been hit with the MRI disqualification of two influential players in Adam Saad and Emmanuel Bio.

The experienced trainer however remains confident in his squad that will be doing battle in Group A against hosts Niger and Togo.

Only the winner of the qualifying tournament will qualify for the Africa Cup finals.
