E/R: Akyem Nsutam To Get Ultramodern Toilet Facilities

A non Governmental Organisation called “Ghana First” in partnership with the Local government ministry through the District Chief Executive, DCE, of Fanteakwa South District, Mr Ntori Kwasi Adjabeng, made a revelation at the Chiefs Palace, that they need parcels of Lands as soon as possible, to build Ultramodern Toilet facilities at Akyem Nsutam in the Fanteakwa South District.
According to the Chief Engineer of Ghana First, Engineer John, on Tuesday September 25, 2018, he said the initiative is to help reduce the open defecation canker in the community and Ghana in general.
When the Chief of Akyem Nsutam, Osabarima Baafi Sarpong Kumankuma asked to be briefed, Engineer John said the facility might be able to contain 14 to 20 people at a time. It does not smell and they will work hard to make it Biogas.
Again, one would not have to manually flash after visiting it, it automatically flashes after you get up. With or without water, it can still flash. Hand dryer and washing taps would readily be available to wash hands without touching them.

However, mode of collecting money would be automated, like the use of the prepaid. You subscribe, use the card through sensor to open the door without touching it to ensure utmost hygiene and being able to efficiently account for the money.
Osabarima Baafi Sarpong Kumankuma asked how those in the community would be familiar with those technology, Engineer John said there would be Public sensitization on how to use the facility but was quick to add that they do not want lands at the outskirts of the town for security reasons. He also said they should do everything possible to provide the land within the week since time is not a friend to the Leaders of Fanteakwa South District.
The Chief thanked them and promised to do his possible best to work within the time limit for the betterment of the community and Country.
