The former Member of Parliament, MP, for Ablekuma South Constituency in the Greater Accra Region, Mr Fritz Baffour has said, he knows that some of the members of the opposition party, National Democratic Congress NDC, will be discomfort by his decision to join Kingsford Alban Bagbin’s campaign team because he was a minister of  the Mahama’s administration but that’s not what is supposed to be because they are all members of the party and have equal rights to choose who they want to work with.

He made this revelation on Radio1fm 100.7HMZ, Susubiribi morning show on Thursday October 18, 2018, when the host captain Kofi Owusu asked if he is been attacked on his decision above.

According to Fritz, he believes in the party’s mission and visions. Thus Probity and Accountability. He also believes in development in unity, working for a common man and a social democrat and the former majority leader,  Alban Sumani Kingsford Bagbin echoes the qualities so it’s not a problem for him to join his team as the Campaign Cordinator.

However, he said he is not against anybody in the party neither is he against Mahama. He said even one of the aspirant is his cousin and some are also his very good friends but it just a matter of choice.

He also added that he never agrees with the idea of rebranding NDC rather believes that they just have to go back to their old roots they started with thus working with dedication and without money motive. He said all what NDC needs is to work hard and take care of the street man because they  are their first call of development.

He concluded that he will not discourage any of the aspirants because all of  them are capable and have  good visions rather he  chooses Alban Bagbin and going to make sure he becomes the flagbearer of NDC come 2020 General Election.
