The residents of Somanya in the Eastern Region and their Paramount Queen, Openosa Korlekuor Adjado III are calling on Government to immediately sack the Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) of the constituency, Mr. Ebenezer Tetteh Kupulor or call him to order.
According to the residents and their noble queen, since the appointment of Mr Tetteh, he has not associated himself with the legitimate traditional council but rather supporting the other faction (nuya) who are not recognize by any constitution and are known for distracting all programs within the traditional council.
The spokesman of the paramount Queen, Mr. George Adjiracku a.k.a King George made this revelation on Thursday 11 October, 2018 at the community center at Yilo Krobo during the launching of the 26th edition of the kloyosikplemi festival.
King George said, Mr. Ebenezer has never honored the invitation of the traditional council.

However he said the people of Somanya have been patient with him all this while, believing that Mr. Ebenezer will have a change of mind but as at now they have not seen any improvement in his behavior.
According to King George, the Regional Registrar of the Traditional council, Mr. Richmond Piesuiw and the District police Commander also contribute to the Distraction of peace in Somanya. He said the regional registrar has organized an election which has been properly conducted already and the Police Commander is in support of it.
Therefore the people of Somanya and the Yilo krobo traditional council are pleading with the government to set up a special committee to investigate the matter because “they are a peace loving people and don’t want any repetition of what happened some years back.”
Kloyosikplemi festival is the festival of the Yilo Krobo in Somanya where they exhibit their tourism site, culture and development to the whole country. It also serves as family gathering; thus bringing family members together. The festival was launched on Thursday where they also set a 5 member committee to see to the organization of the festival.
