A Deputy National Youth Organizer, hopeful of the opposition National Democratic Congress, NDC, Madam Ruth Dela Seddoh has described the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) as governing the Nation like a Fun Fair.

Madam Ruth Dela, in an interview on Radio1FM 100.7MHZ’s Susubiribi morning show  said that she sees the New patriotic Party as unserious party.

According to her, the NPP has taken the governance of the country as a fun fair and spending money unnecessarily. She said if they can spend a huge sums of money to just outdoor NABCO then she doesn’t think they are ready to lead the country.

She also stated that the NPP has rendered people unemployed in the banking sector who take home over GHC2000 as a salary just to bring NABCO which is be enrolled for only three, indicating that they are just in power not to help the people rather to serve their parochial interests.

However, Madam Ruth said, when the president and his party made a lot of noise about free SHS during their campaign tours, she thought they were going to refund those who have already paid , not knowing that it is just fallacy to gain power. She said if parents buy all the expensive books what then makes the SHS free?

“Headmasters of the schools are crying but they can’t come out to voice them because with a least mistake they will be sacked which also clearly shows the NPP is ruling the country under autocracy and not Democracy” Ruth added.

She concluded that due the numerous hardships and poor governance, she believes hardworking and determination will bring NDC to power come 2020 general election.

Della Seddoh, among 11 other aspirants are vying for the National Deputy Youth Organiser for NDC and interestingly, she is the only Lady among the Gentlemen and this happens to be her second time contesting for that same position. Their National Election comes off in November this year and she is 12 on the ballot.
