The office of the former president, Mr. John Dramani Mahama has issued a press statement today October 9, 2018 to the office of the vice president of the ruling New Patriotic party (NPP) Dr. Bawumia to treat the office of the vice with respect and also focus on fulfilling the promises made to the people of the nation.
However, they kept on reminding Dr. Bawumia that any form of attack on the former president on any day will not be gone unanswered. Therefore they wish to bring his attention to the numerous promises that he and the president, Nana Akufo Addo made thus the one district one factory, one million dollar per constituency per year, teacher trainee allowance and the others are still in arrears across the country
“It is shocking that the vice president Bawumia who has become butt of all jokes in the country for his inability to match his performance on the job and the management of the economy with his numerous propagandist lecture in the opposition has the temerity to call the former president names,” the document reads.
The statement points out the investments made by the former president when he was in office; in Education, Health Care, Energy, Roads, among others and also assure the general public that not any intimidation by the vice president will stop Mahama from taking the opposition National Democratic Congress to Victory come 2020 General Election.

According to the statement issued, the office of the former president can not fathom why the Headmaster of Tempane SHS has been suspended on the basis of giving the Deputy National Organiser of the opposition National Democratic Congress, NDC, Mr Joshua Akamba the opportunity to interrogate students to know their challenges.
The NDC is concerned of the perpetual silence of the second son of the nation, Dr Bawumia and asked him to keep mute for if he insults Mahama, they will equally match him boot to boot.
