Akufo-Addo’s Tour Was Just A Waste Of Resources – NDC Chairman

The Constituency Chairman for the opposition National Democratic Congress, NDC in the Fanteakwa South Constituency in the Eastern Region, Mark Okraku has labelled the President’s 3 day tour in the Eastern Region as a complete waste of time, Energy and Resources and causing financial loss to the state.

According to him the President disgraced himself because he had nothing to show off as a datum for his visit in the region.

Speaking on the Susubiribi Morning Show on Radio 1 FM, 100.7MHZ, he told the host Captain Kofi Wusu that the current NPP government led by Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo showed gross incompetence in his visit since he couldn’t after his two years in office boast of any project he has done in the region.

According to him, the NPP government used the opportunity to display volumes of irresponsibility since they clearly knew they had not done anything in the region but intentionally toured the region just to waste the Nation’s coffers.

Mark Okraku said the 3 day tour was a shame on the part of the government and on the region as a whole since he hails from the Eastern Region.

In the studio discussion he said the President upon assuming office as the MP for Abuakwa South Constituency to the Presidency, he can’t point to any achievement in his hometown and that means he’s a failure.
