Incessant Accidents Caused by 3 Major Factors – Chairman, Roads And Highways

The Member of Parliament for Ayensuno Constituency who doubles as the Chairman of Parliamentary Select Committee for Roads and Highways, Hon. Samuel Aye-Paye has spewed 3 mpajor factors that account for the incessant accident on our roads. The various Causes he enumerated include: Human error, the State of our Roads and the conditions of vehicles.

 

He said till we tackle these factors, accidents are nowhere near ending on our Roads.

Hon. Samuel Aye-Paye made this revelation on Radio1fm 100.7 Susubiribi morning on Monday November 5, 2018 when the host Captain Kofi Wusu asked him of what he thinks could be done to reduce if not to stop road accident.

He also said that the season also count on the numerous Accidents since we are approaching Christmas where everyone is preparing to boost his/her business thereby making enough travels.

He believes  massive education to the drivers which is the work of all the various Road agencies, National Road Safety Commission, MTTD, FIre Service, DVLAetc. He said that about the nature of our road so far government is doing his best to make sure we improve on our roads.

He said the DVLA also have to make sure that all the vehicles are in good conditions before it will set on the road and the police should also enforce the law on the drivers and he believes that if all these are done;  will reduce accident on the road.

Finally, he said the road safety commission to tightening their education to the drivers about road signs and symbols in this festival seasons.
