NDC V/R: Nothing Can Mar or Truncate Your Victory – Delegates Assure Ofosu-Ampofo

The Election Pool for the opposition National Democratic Congress NDC which has always been the Volta Region has seen the various delegates within the constituencies giving in to Mr Samuel Ofosu-Ampofo’s campaign messages with Promises of voting massively for him as their next National Chairman come Saturday November 17, 2018 and have assured him that nothing can mar or truncate his victory.

“We know him when he was a Minister, and National Organiser, and what he achieved”, Delegates asserted.
The delegates in central, North, and South Tongu constituencies of the Volta region met the aspiring chairman in separate constituencies and reiterated their unwavering preposition of voting for him to lead as national chairman come Saturday.

While some of them recounted achievements of Mr. Samuel Ofosu – Ampofo as one of the longest serving national organiser for the party for over 9 years, and the role he played in ensuring the NDC returned from political oblivion in 2009, others who have personal engagement with him on benevolent grounds used the meeting to appeal to the conscience of their colleagues and implored them to exercise their franchise for Hon. Ampofo since he is the man the NDC needs at this crucial moment to assist in recapturing power from the NPP government.

In almost all the districts and constituencies he toured, Mr Samuel Ofosu-Ampofo has constantly maintained his resolve to make the NDC attractive, as well as election winning party , when given the nod as the national chairman of the party.

He noted the NDC needs to be rebranded to catch the glimpse of floating voters to the advantage of the party as we move into the 2020 general elections.

Mr Samuel Ofosu-Ampofo said the people of the Volta region have over the years been very supportive throughout his political life , and intimated optimism that the people will not let him down, as the party inches closer to the national delegates congress.

Saturday’s Presentation has been regarded by participating delegates as one of the foremost strategic which by itself, is self – explanatory, and pragmatic.

They further highlighted some key indicators in his presentation which they described as salient and would inure to the benefit of the party, if implemented after he assumes office as national chairman for the NDC, in the next four years.

The region is expected to give Mr Samuel Ofosu-Ampofo huge voter turnout, since his message of hope of building the party’s infrastructure and structures have resonates with delegates who will be voting on Saturday. And Out of the 28 constituencies in the region that Mr. Ampofo toured, the team have asserted a cordial reception, and highly positive observation, and they have revealed that nothing can mar or truncate his victory.

The campaign trip has been described as extremely successful, productive, and Hon. Samuel Ofosu – Ampofo is tipped to win convincingly, since a lot of inputs suggests he ought to have been endorsed through popular acclamation because he has what it takes to manage the party, and bring victory to the party.

The over 8,000 delegates, are expected to converge at the Trade Fair , LA in Accra, on Saturday 17th November, 2018.
