A former District Chief Executive DCE under the erstwhile John Dramani Mahama’s administration and an aspirant for National Zongo Caucus Coordinator for the opposition National Democratic Congress, NDC, Alhaji Abass Fuseini Sbaabe has said the attitude of the ruling New Patriotic Party, NPP, is like watching one of the famous telenovelas in Ghana; Kumkum Bagya.
Kumkum Bagya which was started on a nice note but does not seem to end soon and according to Alhaji Abass Fuseini Sbaabe, the mantra upon which NPP won election was accusations of gross Corruption in Mahama’s administration and he believed for the almost 2 years spent in government the NPP could have done something if really they could.
Speaking on BEKYEREMU, a political show on Radio1FM, 100.7MHZ on Thursday November 1, he told the host Owurakou Asamoah that just as Kumkum Bagya is not ending anytime soon, NPP is just making a bluff and he doesn’t think they can do anything right.
Alhaji Abass said, the government promised to arrest a majority of the NDC because they are corrupt and that Campaign message was highly taken by the electorate thereby voting massively for them but now NPP does not find anyone culpable as the NPP claimed while in opposition.
