The founder and leader of the Universal Christ Church UCC at Koforidua in the Eastern region, Prophet Gabriel Twumasi has waded into the controversy of whether truly human beings can take the title of angels just as  “Angel Obinim”  claims he is a true angel of God.

According to him, one needs to attain angelic state before he/she can go to heaven. Meaning if you don’t die an angel you can’t go to heaven.

According to him, the Bible makes it clear that, God and his Angels dwell in Heaven and therefore if one is not an Angel he or she can’t inherit the kingdom of God. Matthew 18:10, 14

“If Angel Obinim has gotten to the level of been an Angel, there is nothing wrong with that and I don’t see why people should criticise him, because the Bible makes us understand that God and his Angels dwell in his Kingdom, so before one will inherit the Kingdom  he or she must attain the angelic state”- he lamented.
