Kojo Bonsu Quits NDC Flagbearship Race

The former Mayor of Kumasi Metropolitan Assembly, Kojo Bonsu,  has withdrawn from the National Democratic Congress NDC flagbearship race.

He made this known in a statement relrased from his outfit dated Saturday 8th December 2018.

” It is with deep regret that after considerable,deliberation and reflection, I have decided to end my campaign for the flagbearship of the NDC today”. He stated.

He was part of  the eight flagbear hopefuls who petitioned the party’s council of Elders for the reduction of the filing fees.

So far he is the second person officially to withdra from the flagbearship race since Elikplim Agbemava, also announced  that he will no longer contest for the flagbership position and has rather declared his support for former President John Mahama, and called on his supporters to do same.
