The 2nd Deputy Speaker of Parliament Hon. Alban Sumana Kingsford Bagbin aka ASK Bagbin, who doubles as Member of Parliament MP for Nadowli West Constituency in the Upper West Region and equally vying for the Flagbearer slot for the opposition National Democratic Congress, NDC to lead them in their bid for power in the 2020 elections has categorically stated that with Mahama as the Flagbearer, there is no way the NDC party can win the 2020 election.

In an audio intercepted by Radio 1 News where Hon. Alban Bagbin was speaking to the press, he is heard telling the press that if really he is convinced that former president John Dramani Mahama can win power in 2020, he wouldn’t have contested him in the race.

According to the long serving Member of Parliament, with all the experience he has acquired in parliament and the exposures he has had in about his 26 years in Politics, NDC needs to project a new face before they can win, that’s how come he thinks and believes he deems fit for bringing back power for the NDC in 2020 Elections.

However, Hon. Bagbin believes the filing fee for the aspirants is highly exorbitant and he would reconsider his intention for contesting the flagbearership race even as he described as one of the attempt to Create , Loot and Share and his outfit will not have a part to play in that decision.
