The Deputy Nasara Co-ordinator for the ruling New Patriotic Party NPP in the Fanteakwa North Constituency, Owusu Karikari, has lashed out on the opposition National Democratic Congress, NDC, and asked them to shut up for they do not have the moral right or whatsover audacity to criticise the current government over the occurrences in Akufo-Addo’s governance.
He said the era of NDC was like hell in Ghana where almost every sector of the economy collapsed and making life very unbearable under the Mahama led administration.
Speaking on the Issues, a political show on Radio 1FM, 100.7MHZ on Saturday December 1 2018, he told the host Nana Kwabena Addo that he can not fathom why the opposition National Democratic Congress, NDC is criticising the current administration as if they had something to show in their 8 years rule before the Akufo-Addo led government.
“NDC do not have any moral right at all in every quarter of this country in terms of every department whether it being Sanitation, Economy whatever…” ,Owusu said.

Mr Owusu Karikari, said this in a response to whether Dumsor is back as it’s being paraded on every platform by the opposition party. According to him dumsor is not back and never back since the financial part of the crises has already been solved and what the nation experienced in some few days ago were due to technical challenges in that it isn’t same as that in the era of the NDC.
Moreover, he said the country produces more power than the demand to the extent that Ghana exports some of it’s power. He said Car Power produces 450MW, Built Dam Produces 400 MW, Asogli produces 94MW, and Akosombo produces 900MW So he still cannot understand why the NDC is always raising Political tension in the Country.
He therefore urged Ghanaians to believe in the words of the Energy Minister which assures us that there can’t be Dumsor in Ghana under their era. He again said the power outages might be due to the transformer faults in the areas that go black out.
The vociferous Deputy Nasara Co-ordinator concluded that the NDC have no effrontery to criticize the NPP since they woefully failed the nation in their administration.
