Radio 1FM Wins Best Media Award At Farmers Day Celebration

A very reputable media establishment in Eastern region which operates professionally in accordance with the codes, ethics and regulations of the media act, Radio 1FM, 100.7MHZ has in this year’s farmers day celebration been awarded the best media collaboration entity in the Abuakwa South Municipality for their outstanding contribution towards the development of agriculture in Ghana by the  Ministry of Food and Agriculture, MoFA in the year under review.

 

The honor bestowed on the station is a signal of how impressive the media establishment has impacted the municipality, region and the nation as a whole. It is therefore an undeniable fact that the programs and events as well as administrative courtesies are in line with the municipal, region and the nation’s aim.

 

“Ghana Akuafo” is a unique program aired on every Monday evening and it’s target is to sensitize the general public the need to engage in agriculture, address agriculture related issues, help provide requisite remedies for agric problems and this has gained very much recognition in the region.

The occasion which took place at Addonkwanta in the Abuakwa South Municipality saw the likes of highly ranked members in the ministry of Agriculture, Chiefs, Officials from the ruling government, farmers and equally recognized stakeholders in the community all applauded Radio 1FM for their unimaginable performances that positively affect the nation.

According to the Ministry of Food and Agriculture, the reception and the kind of recognition Radio 1 FM has given to the municipality especially in respect to Agriculture is unbeatable.

The ministry therefore congratulated the media station and urged them to continue the good works and expand their tantacles for the benefit of all other Municipal.
