Military Men Besiege Narawa Company Limited, Burn Their Machines And Seize Some Excavators.

A troop of Military men from the office of the presidency raided Narawa Company Limited, a large scale mining company in Akyem Nsuapemso in the Fanteakwa South District of Eastern region on friday 4th January 2019, seize about 4 Excavators, burn their pumping machines, handcuff the workers and molest them.
The military men who drove in vehicles branded Galamstop are said to have had tip off that the renowned mining company is engaging illegally and polluting the water bodies in the community particularly the almighty Birim river.
According to information picked up by Radio 1 News, these military men besieged the area upon tip off from the Chief of Hemang who allegedly revealed that the Narawa mining company is engaging in illegal mining, galamsey in the Birim River.
Intelligence gathered also revealed that these military men gave out couple of warning shots which caused fear and panic to the extent that a driver in one of their vehicles while driving, got scared, lost control over the steering and the vehicle somersaulted a couple of times leaving the driver injured and now seeking medical care at the hospital.
