NDC Cannot Be Subjected To Imtimidation – Ofosu Ampofo

The National chairman for the opposition National Democratic Congress, NDC, Mr Samuel ofosu Ampofo has disclosed that the party, NDC cannot be subjected to indimidation even as 6 party members were shot and the party boycotts the ongoing By-election at Ayawaso West Wuogon in the Greater Accra region.

He disclosed this at the Party National Headquarters in Accra when addressing the media on the reason why they boycott the ongoing election.

He butteressed his arguements with the facts that the polling agents at the polling stations were on the early hours attacked. He also revealed that the NDC aspirant for that seat was yesterday attacked in his own house and doesnt feel safe.

The National chairman alleged that the Military men seen on the grounds of election are NPP disguised Vigilante group members.

According to the maverick politician, they party electorate dont feel safe and the party bigwigs are even assaulted and eventually demands a prompt action.

Sam George, MP for Ningo Prampram was also assaulted and for thorough interrogations and deliberations the party decides to boycott the by-election all because they cant guarantee their safety.
