NPP And Akufo-Addo Deserves 82% For The Year Under Review – Communication Member

A  Communication Member of the Ruling New Patriotic Party in the Atiwa East constituency, Eastern Region, Isaac Anokye has said that looking at the effort of the government and the Education ministry has done to improve our education service they deserve 82% on the scale of 100%.

He made this Known on Radio 1fm 100.7MHZ Susubiribi Morning Show on Monday 31st December 2018 when they were assessing the government on his performance as the year ends.

According to Mr. Anokye the free Senior High School and Double track is the biggest Social intervention ever in the history of Ghana and politics. He said looking at how government was able to handle the problem of enrollment and others which has made the system moving smoothly, government deserves more.

 He also admitted that there has been a lot of challenges they faced while implementing the policy but government and the ministry of education is still working things out to make sure they overcome all the challenges and he believes that in terms of education, 2019 will be a better year.

Mr. Anokye also touched on our sanitation problem and said the problem of poor sanitation in the country is not about government rather the attitudes of we the citizens and believes that if we change our behaviors towards sanitation then we would have a clean country we are all seeking for. However he said his government is doing his best to also deal with the canker.

In conclusion Mr. Anokye took the opportunity to also touch on the issue of Drone which has been a debate among all in the country. He said one thing we should have in mind is that the Drone is not been bought from the nation’s coffers so we should relax since we have nothing to lose rather gain if everything goes well.
