We Are Not Polluting Water Bodies – Panther Mining Company

The General Manager for Panther Mining Company Ltd, in Ampapatia in the Atiwa West District in Eastern Region, Mr George has refuted claims that their activities have polluted the water bodies in the surrounding communities.

According to him, the speculations are mere fabricated stories by anti progressive individuals aimed at pulling down the hard earned reputation of the renowned company and therefore urged the general public especially the surrounding communities to ignore the speculation and treat them as irrelevant assumptions.

In an interview with the press upon visit to the site to authenticate the speculations, the General Manager was glad to see the media. He took the media around to inspect their activies. Briefed them on the various stages in the mining especially on the dam that is far far away from the river body.

He revealed that the company is going according to the constitution governing the mining industry and is strongly committed to ensuring sanity in the mining industry. He again revealed that he was part of the miners that recently received training at the University of Mines and Technology which is an initiative of the ruling New Patriotic Party, NPP to equip them with knowledge to kick start conducive and sustainable mining in the nation.

Panther Mining Company is a subsidiary of the large Scale mining company in Atiwa West District, Extra Gold.
