A member of parliament hopeful for the constituents of Yilo Krobo on the ticket of NDC, Mr Michael Ologo, has waded into the reigning discourse of the Ayawaso brutality and has applauded the leadership of the party led by chairman Ofosu Ampofo.

The National Chairman of the NDC Hon. Samuel Ofosu – Ampofo , including functionaries of the NDC have once again shown their clouts, skills and understanding in election management in the just ended bye – election at the Ayawaso west Wuogon constituency, a suburb in the greater Accra region on Thursday 31/01/2019.

The election which commenced in some 137 polling station across one of the elitist constituencies in the region, saw a smooth process in the early hours of polling until the arrival of some muscular – masked – armed men in black outfit arrived in a Police – Military accoutrements and began to unleashed mayhem and terror at the  Bawaleshie residence of the National Democratic Congress candidate, Mr. Delali Kwesi Brempong amidst sporadic exchanged and spraying of live Ammunitions and stray bullets at supporters of the party who had engulfed the premises of the parliamentary candidate buckling up to usher him to cast his vote at his designated polling centre.

Speaking to ahotoronline news, Mr Ologo commended the party’s National chairman for that decision, other wise a lot of innocent lives would have been lost per  intelligence gathered.

This clandestine machinations by these men in police and national security outfits resulted in chaotic scenes at the constituency and thereby, sending many electorates and constituents fleeing and to seeking refuge for their life’s.

On the whole the unexpected but orchestrated rehearsed scene landed several fanatics of the party ( NDC) with gunshots wounds, unprovoked beatings, as well as heckling and repetitive slaps at the Member of Parliament for Ningo Prampram constituency, the Hon. Samuel George Nertey ( contents in a captured video, and images)

But for the timely intervention by the National Chairman of the NDC , there would have been more and added casualties, since the governing New Patriotic Party, had earlier revealed their ill planned motives towards the election, and thus to  bully to win at all cost.

A subtly weak, overwhelmed, and confused police personnel’s who were present during the impasse  seemed virtually helpless on the day, and could not dispatched their professional tact and acumen in dexterity, due to the fact that it appeared from the onset of the elections that they were tamed and clone by the government or perhaps directed to undertake an obscene operations by their coloured senior superiors.

Chairman Samuel Ofosu Ampofo per available leads of intelligence on the ground, decided to called off and withdrew the NDC from the bye –  election. A move which have received high commendation by all, including political connoisseurs and the international community.

Similarly, Though there are reported cases of fatalities, and casualties receiving treatments for varying degrees of injuries in some selected hospitals in Accra, many believed the swift intervention by the National Chairman Hon. Samuel Ofosu – Ampofo might have saved the dreadful and nasty situation on the day.

It suffix to stressed that, a predestined operation and brainchild by a government who knew they have lost an outstanding seat in parliament in advance which would leave a scar on their so – called superiority representation in the August House, due to their abysmal and unimpressive performance in power, led by President Akufo Addo, and Veep Dr. Ahaji Mahmoud Bawumia.
