Ankaase: We Need Peace And Love To Help Develop Our Community – Newly Installed Chief

The newly installed chief of Akyem Ankaase in the Atiwa East district in the eastern region, Barima Ansah Sasraku Ofram Ababio II has appealed to the residents and indegenes to come together as one people, live together in love and peacefully coexist and tolerate each other to ensure booming development in the community.
According to him, there is no time for waging war against each other, rather, with consensus negotiations, they can rebrand and develop Ankaase town.
He made these passionate appeals to the media on Thursday May 8, 2019 at his residence after he was reinstalled as the Chief of the town.
“We need peace and love. We did not fight. We went accordingly to the court orders and that of Okyenhene, we won’t love one and hate the other. With love and peace we can ensure development”, Barima Ansah Sasraku posited.

Again, he appealed to the government, general public, indegenes, NGOs and other opinion leaders to come to their aid to help build a community clinic even as he appealed to the DCE to help them get speed rumps on the highway to prevent and reduce road accidents.
“We need clinic. We have started and now that I’ve been given the nod, we’ll ensure its completion. We also need speed rumps on our highway. We engaged the DCE and I believe going forward, we’ll push for it more”, Barima added.
However, he acknowledged the efforts of the Paramount chief of Akyem Abuakwa traditional area, Osagyefuo Amoatia Ofori Panin, for ruling with truth and transparency.
He also thanked the chiefs and all that made it possible to the ocassion.
Present at the ocassion among other chiefs were;
Daasebrɛ Asumadu Kantamanto – Kwabeng Hene and Okyeman Gyaase Hene. Barima Okumanin – Kyebi Ankobeahene. The eastern regional president of council of Zongo chiefs, Alhaji Abubakar Umar.
