3 People are confirmed dead while a about 5 people sustain serious injuries as Abandze community and Suhuno communities moved to the street to register their displeasure towards the services of PDS for taking the whole community out of the National grid for deliberately refusing to pay their bills.
In an interview with an eye witness, he revealed to Radio1News, that PDS thought the best way for the communities to pay their bills was to take them out of the grid.
However, the communities took to the street with the intention of demonstration and petition the DCE but the Police from Odumase and Somanya stopped them on their way.
After several attempts by the police to stop them were all in vain so the police resulted to shooting and unfortunately 3 are confirmed dead, while several demonstrators are hospitalized.
